Dat Xanh giving 100 billion Vietnam dong of Sunview Town Scholarships

On December 28, 2013, Dat Xanh Group (DXG) cooperated with Study Encouragement Association affiliated to the People’s Committee of Thu Duc district in holding a ceremony to give Sunview Town Scholarships to 100 poor but studious students in Thu Duc district. The number of scholarships given was 100, each one is 1 million Vietnam dong.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Khac Mai - member of Study Encouragement Association of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Tho Truyen - Deputy President of the People’s Committee of Thu Duc district, Ms. Le Thi Cam Van - Chief of Public Relation Committee , Ms. Le Thi Trong - President of Study Encouragement Association of Thu Duc district, and Mr. Vu Quoc Viet Nam - Marketing Director of DXG.

Sunview Town Study Encouragement Fund is established to support the community in helping poor but studious children to go to school, obtain knowledge and have a better future. Mr. Vu Quoc Viet, representative of DXG says “We, businesspeople who also grew up in from various backgrounds, understand that the dreams and desires of youngsters are not likely to come true without support. Therefore, Sunview Town Study Encouragement Fund was established to support and encourgage students from disadvantaged backgrounds to overcome their difficulties and study well. Hopefully you will keep struggling to become good and helpful citizens in the future".

After receiving the scholarship, Dinh Duc Thong, a six grader of Xuan Truong Junior High expressed his appreciation to the teachers, his parents, and the sponsor for helping him keep studying.
