The massive flood in the Central region was over, leaving dozens of people dead or missing. Thousands of people suffered from lack of food, water and homelessness... With the spirit of love, upon knowing that the Central region was heavily flooded, all employees Dat Xanh Group quickly joined hands for the beloved Central region.
After 1 week, the Group raised over 600 gifts, including materials, cash and numerous blankets, warm clothes... In this journey, Dat Xanh Group received the support from: Dat Xanh Mien Trung, Dat Xanh mien Bac, Dat Xanh Mien Nam, Unihomes, Viethome, LDG, Club Motor Typhoon...contributing to help people in Quang Binh.
In the evening of October 20th, food, medicine, essential items were quickly packed for people in Quang Binh, all for the beloved Central region! Everyone wished to have wings to be there as soon as possible to help flood victims.

In the morning ofof October 21st, relief items and relief team reached the people in Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province. In the morning of October 22nd, the convoys headed for 4 provinces: Bac Trach, Ha Trach, Lien Trach and My Trach. The first destination was Bac Trach town. Numerous necessities, especially clean water bottles reached the people in flooded areas.

Leaving Bac Trach, our convoys kept moving to Ha Trach commune, where 1145 households were suffering from heavy losses after the fierce flood. Having suffered from heavy damage of marine environment caused by Formosa, people here could not yet recover, then came this fierce flood sweeping everything away. During the journey in Ha Trach, Dat Xanh gave 200 gifts (rice, clean water and necessities) to households and paid a part of the cost of repair at Ha Trach primary School, Luu Trong Lu Secondary school, Ha Trach High school and Medical station of the commune.

Early afternoon of October 22nd, we continued the journey to My Trach and Lien Trach communes, near upstream of Gianh river, more severely affected than the 2 previous communes. 520/800 households in My Trach were flooded, roofs of 3 households were flown away. 457/972 households in Lien Trach were flooded to the roofs.

In the morning of October 23rd, before leaving Quang Binh for Saigon, the relief team visited and donated 20 million VND to Nguyen Thi Tuyet’s family in Quang Thuan Ward (Ba Don Town).
Formerly, in the afternoon of October 14th, when the floodwater rose at Gianh river, Nguyen Ha – Tuyet’s husband, went fishing at Gianh river At 21 o’ clock the same day, he and his eldest daughter Nguyen Thi Kieu Linh - (18 years old) went to grandmother’s house to move rice to higher place, on the way home, they visited their fishing tools, then they were washed away by the flood. Their bodies were not found until the morning of October 16th.
In the journey to the beloved Central region, there were contributions from Dat Xanh mien Trung, Dat Xanh Mien Bac and LDG. Relief team of Dat Xanh mien Bac went to Gia Ninh and Hien Ninh communes, offered 242 gifts (cash and items) as well as basic necessities.
LDG were also present in the morning of October 22nd and accompanied Dat Xanh to Bac Trach, Ha Trach communes. In the afternoon of the same day, the relief team of LDG continued to move to Quang Thuy commune and offered 35 gifts for 35 households of single-parents, martyrs, poor people... Dat Xanh mien Trung also gave 200 relief gifts to My Trach commune and 100 relief gifts to Lien Trach commune.
Words, gifts, tears did not seem to be sufficient for people in this land, only gestures, sentiments from golden hearts can relieve pains. The journey ended, the fierce flood was over, but the human love images and actions of Dat Xanh will remain with the people in flooded area. The loving simple gestures of people in Quang Binh will always be a good memory in the relief team.
